Addressing the storage needs of researchers in the northeast

NESE Goes to SC20

December 13, 2020

Scott Yokel (Harvard FASRC) recently presented an overview of the Northeast Storage Exchange as an MGHPCC Virtual Booth talk at SC20.

The aim of the Data Infrastructure Building Blocks (DIBBS) program at NSF is to foster the creation of data-centric infrastructures for science, engineering, and education, while simultaneously building sustainable components of a future national cyberinfrastructure. In his overview of the Northeast Storage Exchange at SC20, Yokel reviews progress acheiving these goals through a strategy strongly focused on sustainability and growth of a shared large capacity Ceph and Tape storage facility.
